Printer fonts

Hi

I have a report for which I have set the Epson LQ-1050 (dot matrix) as the
default printer. The problem is that I still can't see the printer's native
(hardware) fonts in the font selection drop down in report designer?

Thanks

Regards

Does Epson provide a specific driver for that printer for your version of
Windows? There are some significant differences at low levels in how dot
matrix and laser/inkjet printers work. This is a hardware, driver software,
and Windows problem... not a Report or Access problem. I had "issues" with
dot-matrix from the very beginning of my use of Windows with Win 3.0 (but
have not used a dot-matrix with Windows in many years).

From the Windows Control Panel, open the Fonts folder, then choose

Tools > Folder Options...

from the menu bar. Click on the "TrueType Fonts" tab and see if there
is a check mark beside "Show only TrueType fonts in the programs on my
computer".
