Printer error

My printer suddenly stopped working. Error message states"operation cannot
be completed. Print spooler service not running" Computer now shows that
printer is not listed and I cannot reinstall. Need immediate help for this
problem.

Click Start, Run, and put the following the box

NET START SPOOLER

click ok, check your printer.
