Printer Driver won't install in English

Greetings,

I just got done helping someone with their Compaq, running XP home.
It had a Compaq printer IJ650 (Lexmark z22-23) and tried to correct the
print dialog box from coming up in dutch/Swedish...some Scandinavian
language. I deleted the print file, tried reinstalling from the Compaq
driver cd and it keeps coming up other than English.

I haven't downloaded the Lexmark driver to try that, I'm wondering if
that will also come up as non English.

Suggestions please.

go to add/remove programs and see if if there is any
software installed along with the printer, yes download
the update from lexmark and install it.
