Print Problem With Picture It!

I have Windows XP, with a 2001 version of Picture It (v5.0.1.3410)
and use a HP 7850 printer. I have been unable to print any projects to the
printer. When I press the PRINT command, I receive the MS message "the
program has encountered a problem and needs to close" All of my other
programs are printing correctly, so I doubt that the issue lies with the
printer. Can anyone lend a suggestion?

More than likely, your printer driver is outdated
or corrupted. It may be worth a try to download
and install the most recent driver.

John --- Thank you for your response. I went to the HP link you provided and
ran a check for printer drivers. It stated that my drivers are all up to
date. The link to the article, while informative, seems to cover print issues
that are not accompanied by MS error messages, which is not my scenario. I
do appreciate your efforts.
