Print monitor unknown

Ive been trying to install my lexmark Z23 on my computer
for some time now but continue to get this error after
install 'The specified print monitor is unknown'... its a
usb printer and i know it works i have used it on many
other computers.
Any ideas?

Get the latest drivers from the Lexmark website and be sure to install the
package BEFORE connecting the printer to the PC.
