Print contact reports that include journal entry notes

I need to print contact reports that also show each journal entry for the
contact and the entry notes that were typed into the journal at the time of
the journal creation. How do I do this? I have checked all the Option,
Cusomization, and Print setup features and I see no way to make this happen.

That's because there is none that I know of.

What do the million or so users of OUTLOOK have to do to get Microsoft to be
accountable and responsive and create a version of Outlook that will do this?
I see many people wanting to print JOURNAL entries and all we see from MS
is "not available". I guess MS would prefer we dump OUTLOOK and go buy ACT.

Hmmm, I use the Journal extensively and have absolutely no need to print
anything. So, exactly who are these "millions" of users clamoring for
printing Journal entries?

Act! is a very nice program for what it does but it is not an Outlook
replacement. Idle threats with nothing behind them are pretty silly in my
opinion.

You DO realize that Microsoft does not officially monitor this news group
and that questions and answers are from peers using the software, right?

I'm with the original author on this one. I want to print multiple
journal entries, preferably in the form of a booklet, although I'd be
more likely to use Notes if it were available. The alternative is to
laboriously open and print each individual entry, which would be the
height of stupidity in most computer based applications. I've noticed
that Microsoft is great at adding features requested internally and not
so great at dealing with requests from the outside.

Milly, your response that "who would need that because I don't need it"
is the typical arrogant answer I get on various things from people at
Microsoft. What you do or do not need is completely irrelevant to the
customers request.

I ditched Outlook as my mail reader at home in favor of Eudora because
I got sick and tired of being told what I could and could not receive
in my email because it was 'insecure'. That's not MicroGod's decision.
It's my decision.

To oaksong,
In spite of the MVP response (which I thought was a very negative somewhat
impolite reply), I have since learned it can be done by a method not
explained anywher. If you do a Activities/All Items on a contact, and see
the list of all activites or linked items/files, and then just select "Print"
throught the menu bar, it will do nothing more than print the contact info
and not the list of activities. However, if you use the mouse to select all
the line-items in the list and then right mouse click on the selected area, a
menu pops up that includes a Print option. If you use this Print option it
does print the list of activites for the indiividual contact.

Hope this helps you and that the MVP might also see this and in the future
pass this on to people she is telling that it can't be done.
