Preview in Browser?

R

Rick

Greetings! Recently, when using FrontPage 2002, the
option under File, Preview in Browser, which allows one
to see how the page looks viewed in Internet Explorer,
will not work or load. Nothing happens! The "hourglass"
just hangs and in Windows Task Manager it shows
Frontpage "not responding". It seems completely random
and not related to anything I am doing or have done. For
instance, just this morning, I opened FrontPage, went to
a website I am designing and tried the Preview feature
and it worked fine. Last night it did not work at all on
any of the websites I am designing! Anybody have an
ideas, suggestions or comments on this dilemma??? Thanks
and God Bless!

With the web open in FrontPage
Click Tools > Web Settings > Advanced
and then under Temporary Files click "Delete files"
Close FrontPage and do a search for files named
*.web and delete all found.
The do the same for *.tmp

Then right click the IE icon, select Properties
and then delete the Temporary Internet and History files,
and check the box to delete off line content.

Reopen FrontPage and see how it does.
