Chas

This is probably a silly question, but can I copy a presentation to a CD and
run it on a normal TV?
Thanks

Yes, it is possible.
You can use Windows Movie Maker to make a video of your presentation
first, then burn the video to DVD with some third-party burning tools.
Or you can use some professional tool in this area to do this such as
Acoolsoft PPT2DVD.
You can also create DVD menus for your presentations.
More information of it you can go to:

Hope it can help

You can burn your PowerPoint to DVD and then play it on DVD machine.
I use the converter PPT2DVD. You can convert your PowerPoint to DVD
with this tool. More information about this tool,
http://www.ppt-to-dvd.com/ppt2dvd/overview.html#104 the output
quality is excellent. Most important, it can create DVD menus,
you can play your presentation on DVD player with DVD remote control
and DVD menus
download the free trial version from http://www.ppt-to-dvd.com/download/powerpoint-dvd-download.php#104

If your PowerPoint doesn’t have animations in it, you can save your
presentation to images and then import these images into Windows Movie
Maker,
it is free on your computer if you use windows XP or Vista. There are
5 ways for you to play your PowerPoint to DVD
