preferred bridgehead server

Can I make a domain controller in each site a bridgehead
server, in Sites and Services? Would this help Auth from
clients? What if there is only one bridgehead server in
a fourty site AD, what would happen?

Although you can specify a particular dc to be the designated bridgehead
server in any given site, each site will automatically create one by
