Preferred authentication server

Hi Folks,

I have one domain and multiple DC's some DC's are local and some are remote.
How do I set the primary DC that all clients authenticate too. If that DC
went down what determines which DC would take it's place for authentication
requests.

Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks, Frank
