PPTP access in Windows 2003 - IPX problems

I am trying to connect a XP Pro client to a Windows 2003 VPN Server (PPTP
port) supporting TCP/IP and IPX (for the Novell Network) The clients
connects fine but only uses TCP/IP. I tried to VPN (PPTP) the same XP Pro
client to another XP Pro (which has the VPN server turned on) & it connects
fine (both TCP/IP & IPX
support)

The Windows 2003 server has IPX protocol installed & we can very well access
the Novell server from that (We use Novell 3.X - Pls do not ask me why)

Any info is greatly appreciated.

Windows Server 2003 does not support IPX routing. It should be clearer in
the RRAS help, but unfortunately does not appear to be very obvious. I
searched on IPX and found this in my machine's help:

"IPX routing is not supported on servers running the Windows Server 2003
family version of Routing and Remote Access. The IPX/SPX protocol is not
available on Windows XP 64-Bit Edition and the 64-bit versions of the
Windows Server 2003 family."

Were you able to successfully configure the VPN server to negotiate IPX?

I believe Windows 2000 supported IPX routing.
