PowerPoint Viewer file for Mac and Windows?

I want to create a PowerPoint file and share it with Mac and Windows users
who may not have PowerPoint. Is there a Viewer file that works for both
platforms? I have Office 2004 and thought I should receive a Viewer file
with it but cannot find it.

Macs will need a different viewer than Windows computers. There is a Mac
Viewer, but it has not been updated since PowerPoint 98, so it can't play
some of the newer features. Check out this entry from the PowerPoint FAQ for
