Is it possible to run a Powerpoint Slideshow from a USB drive. The intention
is to have an Office 2007 Slide Show on a USB drive that can be taken offsite
for presentations that may be run on computers that don't have office
installed.

Hello,

I am sorry that it's not possible for you to run PowerPoint
presentation without PowerPoint installed on computer.
Though you have put the PowerPoint slide show on USB drive.

There are two ways can run your PowerPoint slide show without
PowerPoint installed on computer:

1. When you send the PowerPoint slide show to USB drive, please send a
PowerPoint viewer at the same time, then the
PowerPoint slide show can be play by using the PowerPoint view by
default.

2. Convert your PowerPoint slide show to .exe files, then by only
sending the .exe files to USB drive you can view the PowerPoint slide
show by double click the .exe file. No other applications required. I
use Wondershare PPT2Flash Standard ( http://www.sameshow.com/powerpoint-to-flash.html
) convert PowerPoint slide show to exe files. Only with single click
can I convert it to single exe file, it saves a lot of time for me.

Best regards.

1. Save the PowerPoint presentation slides as images (then use Windows Movie
Maker to combine the images into video).
2. Use some tools to burn PowerPoint to DVD or Video, take Moyea PPT to DVD
as example, launch the tool, import ppt file, customize your configuration,
and burn them to DVD, just a few clicks. The DVD created by this tool can
play on DVD player.
3. Package the presentation as CD.
4. Use Moyea PPT to Video Converter to convert your presentation to video
format and play it on video player or TV set.
5. Use Moyea PPT to Flash to convert powerpoint to flash video(.flv) and
then upload the .flv file to some video hosting website, like Youtube.

Convert PowerPoint to Flash with animations, transitions, sounds and
videos using Wondershare PPT2Flash Professional. It could
significantly reduce the file size of PowerPoint. And the viewers
could view the presentation with IE browser in Windows and Mac.

Learn more about it from: http://www.sameshow.com/powerpoint-to-flash-pro.html
