PowerPoint show doesn't open in slide show view

I have a presentation that I saved as a show (i.e., .ppsx format), but when I
double-click the file, it opens in the "normal" view, not the "slide show"
view. Does anyone know how I can remedy this problem?

Hi Chuck,

Did you go to your slideshow by using the PowerPoint program | FILE | OPEN ?
It seems that a file saved as "slideshow" will open as a "presentation" when
that method is used.

If you go to the folder where you originally saved your slideshow I'm sure
it will open in the mode in which you saved it, i.e. "slideshow".
At least, that's how it works in PowerPoint 2002.
