Powerpoint should let me open files in separate windows

When I open two word files, they open in separate windows, and I can freely
re-size them and/or move them around on my screen. When two files are opened
in Powerpoint, they stay in the same window. Having separate windows just
makes comparing contents SO much easier. One of the (many) unexplainable
differences in the logics of these Office programs.

Open two presentations, choose Window, Cascade.

It's not exactly like Word but should do the job nicely.
