Powerpoint des not play .avi files

PowerPoint 2002 does not play some .avi files (when file is inserted I can
see the first image but when playing the frame is blank. Help! Vladimir,

Probably the path is too long.
Create a test folder on C:\.
Move both the ppt and movie files to the folder.
Now, open the ppt file.
Delete the movie and re-insert it.
See if it works now.

Vladimir,
Maybe the path is too long, paths including the file name should not be
longer than 128 characters. So try shortening the path.
Place the video file in the same folder as your presentation and insert it
again.
