Powerpoint and wav files

I attached wav files to some of my images in a powerpoint presentation. When
I test on my PC, everything works. When I copy the presentation onto
different PC's about 50% of the wav files do not play. I tested of 2
seperate PCs and I get the same results. One PC is using the free Powerpoint
viewer, the other is has Office 2003 installed.

The wav files play the sound on average 5 seconds.

I appreciate any ideas onr this issue.

Probably because it has not been embedded and the link breaks.
Go to Tools > Options > General.
Set it to Link sounds with file size greater than 50000 kb.
Click ok.

Now, delete the sounds and insert again.

Generally, powerpoint file has different browse results in differ
PC,cause it may be many reason include powerpoint version, PC setting
or more.why don't you have to try to convert it to flash file?It will
not lose the wav file, and the transition effect is perfection.more
important,it will not appear the status you mention.Strongly recommend
you to have a try:http://www.sameshow.com/index.php?sid=6
