WAV FILE WON'T PLAY

I have inserted some custom wav files in a powerpoint presentation.
Everything appears to be working properly but the sound does not plan. I
can't hear it if I right click on the icon and press Play Sound or if I run
the presentation.

I can get standard Microsoft Wav files to play and my wav files play fine in
Windows Media Player. But these wav files will not work in a presentation.

Anty ideas.

When you say "custom" WAV files, can you describe what you mean? How did you
create the files? Have you tried going to Start > Run and typing mplay32.exe
and then opening each of the WAV files? Do they play?

Big Wave Dave if you have recorded/created your custom WAV in Powerpoint
itself it can be no longer than 20 seconds I have found. Anything over that
will either not play or be extremely distorted.
