Powerpoint 2007 file changes not saving

Hello,

I have several machines running 2007 and most of themwork fine. One machine
(Vista Ultimate) is running Powerpoint 2007 which is set in compatibility
mode. If an existing file is opened and changed and the save button clicked
the file appears to save (hourglass) but it doesn't. The timestamp does not
change and the files changes are not saved. Save As works OK but it not a
great work-around. This problem seems to be with presentations created in
2003. Could this be the problem?

No, these files are stored on the network. Other co-workers have no problems
saving the files using the Save option either from the Quick Access Toolbar
or from the Office Button.

Have you applied Service Pack 2 for Office 2007? I think it fixed some
issues with files and networks, but I don't know if it fixed this specific
issue or not. (In fact, I don't know if it's a common issue, even.) Anyway,
I think it would be worth a try for this problem machine.
