Powerpoint 2000

I just had to reload Office 2000 due to an Excel issue. Now I find that I
can't get the same "view" in powerpoint that I had in my prior version of
Office 2000. Specifically, the "normal view" left sidebar used to have mini
slides of the presentation, but now has an outline view of the presentations.
Any idea how I can restore the mini slide view on the left sidebar?

PPT 2000 doesn't have a slides thumbnail pane. You're thinking of Office XP
(which has PPT 2002) or 2003, both of which have tabs at the top of that
pane to switch between slides and outline.
