Power User accessing MS Office Apps

I installed MS Office 2k from the administrator account. This is a
standalone computer with Windows XP Pro. When i log on as a regular user, i
get the following message in trying
to launch an MS Office app, "Error 1706, No valid source can be found ..."
It seems that the Windows Installer is trying to complete an operation. Any
help would be vastly appreciated.

Thanks for the response. A friend pointed me to KB 313982 which did the
trick.
