power point 2007 viewer syntax error

I have Vista Home Basic and downloaded power point viewer 2007, when I try to
read a ppt. presentation I get the following: command line syntax error. Can
anyone help me?

You might want to try OpenOffice.org - won't cost a penny to try and it
has a complete ppt compatible module, not just a viewer.
