i notice on boot up it says power managment disabled i think this is causing
the computer not to power down on shutdown .
how do i enable p/managment....the settings in bios are set
acpi sleep type = s1/pos
soft off by power button = instant off
system after ac back = soft off
display activity =ignore
pme event wake up = enabled
and not much else that relates to power managment setup
i cant find an actual acpi enable/disable
and theres no apm tab in power options
and no referance to any acpi settings in device manager (includes hidden
files)
i always thought the parameters loaded on boot up screen reflected the bios
settings...
so is this possible xp os has somehow disabled my power managment + how do i
get it back?
