Posting PPS on webpage problem

I am trying to post some POWERPOINT (PPS) files on my website so that othes can click on a link and download them. As it happens now, when they click on the link, the PPS opens in the browser and displays all special characters.

I am using Frontpage 2003. How do I create and/or post PPS files so that they will simply be downloaded?

You have to either add a note next to the link, telling users to right click
and then select Save to Disk, etc. or convert the file to .zip using WinZIp,
etc.

Also TBMK browsers only recognize .ppt not .pps files
(if the user has PPT or the PPT viewer installed)
