Post "removal" problems

Program appears to remove the file sporder.dll from
system32 directory. After removal, cannot connect to the
internet. Seems to happen when cleaning "Hancer". Would
be very helpful to be able to approve or disapprove of
file removal on a file-by-file basis during beta. Thank
goodness for XP restore points.

Here's the fix for this issue, should it happen again to you or others:

If you are on Windows XP Service Pack 2,
Please type this at a command prompt:

netsh winsock reset

Hit the enter key,
then restart the machine.

For Windows 2000, Pre SP2 versions of XP, or for Windows Server 2003 pre
sp1, follow the procedure in this Microsoft Knowledge base article:

This kind of issue can result from removal of genuine malware, or from
removal of an genuine file identified wrongly as a false positive. In your
case, it is worth double-checking the bits to be sure they aren't corrupted,
but it may well be a false positive. You can set the action to ignore
always, and it won't be flagged further.

This particular file has been abundantly brought to Microsoft's attention, I
think, although they may not have a full list of the products that make use
of it.
