Possible to search on a category across email, tasks, and appointm

I'm trying to use categories more effectively, especially since they are now
colored in O07. I can create a saved search for a category in email, and sort
views in the calendar and task, but is there way to search across (or view)
all items tagged with a category?

It would be very nice if I could see in a single search or view, anything
(contact, task, etc) in a single shot in case I just want to see everything
associated with a specific project (which is what I'm using the categories
for).

I'd rather not use a 3rd party app (Like Tglocity) so I don't have to become
dependent upon it on every PC I use.

Have you tried using Advanced Find?

No I had not, because I'm using O07 and didn't realize that the advanced find
feature was there, since everything drives you to use the search in the
window presented. Thanks for the tip.

Follow up question, anyway to save these as saved searches?

Unfortunately, that function has been removed from Outlook 2007.
