PopUps from 206.161.193.78

ANTHONY ROBINSON

I have been hacked by 206.161.193.78 since Saturday (07/12/2003). I
activated "Content Advisor" in IE. However, everytime it blocks the website
from sending me popUps (which is wonderful) it pops up a notification
(another form of PopUp). Does anyone know of a way to stop it from popping
up the Content Advisor notification?

Thanks - Anthony

Download and install this host file.
It will stop all the sites listed after 127.0.0.1 which is your computer.

The best way is to block the server from tracking you in the first place
Blocking Ads with a Hosts File and AdShield. Under the Security Tab download
the hosts.zip file.

You can block the culprit by using this method which you will find in the
hosts (no extension) file. The file can be opened with notepad.

127.0.0.1 192.168.112.2O7.net #www.omniture.com

In you case add
127.0.0.1 206.161.193.78 .net #anything after the # will be ignored it's a
remark only.

or .com if the site is a .com

127.0.0.1 206.161.193.78 .com

if you know the name then

127.0.0.1 the_culprit_name.com or .net
