pop-ups inside my pictures?

something very odd has happened, ive been whammed by a
pretty big computer bug, during the past 5 days all is
completely well and fixed, as well as firewalled etc. but
one problem remains, and its really annoying. pictures
are being replaced by advertisements on the internet. the
best example is my homepage www.gamespot.net. the four
boxes in the middle of the screen dont show game
pictures, but instead display ads like "you internet
connection is slow" and basically what youd expect from
pop-up windows, it really affects me because it also
replaces the pictures links with ones to the
advertisements site. i have virus-scanned, and spyware
search (spybot- search and destry 3.0 + spyware doctor)
and they are the only things remaining, as well as a
large amount of pop-ups, please help, i cant do anything
with this! thank you

It's likely you have adware. Download and install, then you *MUST* update
the Adaware prior to running to be sure it has the latest definitions, then
run the programs below. SpyBot and Adaware have different definitions, so
what one does not detect the other may. It is important that you follow all
