pop up info after sp2 install

After installing sp2, the pop up information bubble information has changed.
When you moused over a file, local or network pre sp2, it would show you the
type, date modified and size of the file. Now with sp2 installed you only get
the above information on local files, not networked files. On network files,
you only receive type and size now (no date modified). Is there a way to
change this feature. One of my users refered to the date modified when
looking for network files they needed to work on. Thanks in advance.

Not sure, but why not set up Explorer to show details view, and add the
'date modified' column?

Thanks for the reply. Tried that before the post and your right, it will
show the date modified in the explorer window, but does not change the info
in the pop up mouse over information. Again, it is only on the network files,
so maybe it's in a security policy change. Any ideas?

Honestly, I'm not sure....I have never used this feature as I just use the
Explorer column (and haven't noticed any differences in behavior as I don't
look for it)....sorry.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. It has me stumped as well. I found that
this "feature" affects other software as well. In Adobe 6 that we use, it is
behaving the same way after the sp2 update. I've gone thru the security
settings in mmc an could not find anything that looked promising. There had
to be something in the registry that changed but how to figure that one out
would take a little more time than I want to spend on this problem. Thanks
again. I'll post back if I find the solution.
