Pop-up every
minute with a noise: "P2P Networking: cannot find server!"
I don't know what this is and who turned this on on my
laptop. It is annoying. I would like it to stop
(especially as I don't have a clue what it is).

How do I stop this P2P activity?

.I had the same problem and I think I've cured it. Use

your search function to look for everything with P2P on
your C drive. It will bring up a list of stuff. Look for
P2P networkingV123. On the right side of the screen it
says control panel. Double click on P2P networkingV123
and it opens up a control panel for P2P networking. Click
options and turn off all the four functions listed. Then
pree apply and done. This worked for me and I haven't had
it occur since. Let me know if this works.

Simply uninstall in control panel.
Look for P2p Network
