Poorly Laptop

Please please can someone help me with my laptop.
I think there must be a keylogger or something because its gone funny, programs installed, passwords created and removed, crashes alot, really slow, the list is endless.

I only know the basics regarding computers and so would be grateful of any step by step help.

If the laptop really does have that many things wrong with it, then I would probably suggest formatting it - which removes EVERYTHING from your laptop so that you can start again (this includes, documents, photos, e-mails etc...!).

You'd need to back everything you wanted up, such as the list above, and then re-install windows for a clean install.

If you don't want to do something quite as drastic as that, you can post a Hijack This log here and we might be able to spot a problem:

oh just noticed aswell, when i run spydoctor it will only go to 22% then doesnt move.

It's now running the anti spyware.

Good news is your logs clean.

How old is the laptop? Did it get slow overnight, or over time? It maybe that it just needs some 'housekeeping'.

If you could post the exact model mumber that would help.

So does that also mean that no one has hacked into my laptop?
just because some of my passwords have been changed and things have changed.
the numbers on bottom are:
amilo L 6825
was bought 2003 i think.

Please please can someone help me with my laptop.

Have you install any software in the past few days.

Do you have any files or picture,etc on your pc which are,nt yours.

you could try installing this sofware http://www.eset.com/download/index.php

Eset is a good virus checker and spyware remover in one.

Try it out for 30 days.

Scan with this one.

Save anything important to CD or whatever, then wipe the drive.



Oh and by the way, are you using the free Zone Alarm, or the full version? The free version is crap, but the full one is really good.

Not bad the free version alot better than windows xp ,vista

I do not like the full version poor antivirus and spyware.

But if you do format back up anything , make sure your re-load cd or windows disc works.
