Plug and Play not finding drivers problem

Hi, I'm running Windows XP with SP2. I have recently purchased a Polaroid PDC
3035 digital camera and a Hewlett Packard AudioKey 250MB MP3 Player. Both
products say they are plug and play and that I will not have to use the
supplied disks to install drivers, the MP3 player says simply plug in and
browse for it in Windows Explorer. The installing new Hardware window appears
and wants to search for drivers, but does not install them from either the
disk or the internet browse, but the MP3 player instruction clearly state the
disk is not required for Windows XP. Is there something wrong with my Plug
and Play, as I now have two pieces of hardware that I cannot use. Any help
really would be much appreciated.
Thanks Chris

You did not complete the question as far as the camera. Did it install?
On your MP3 player. After you plug it in the USB port, press the power
button to ON on the player, then XP should pick it up and automatically
install, the same for the camera. I also have the Polaroid and it works fine
including installing the graphics app that came with it.

Hi Byte...unfotunately neither the camera or the mp3 player load, I have
tried turning it on when i plug it in but to no avail, the add hardware
wizard always appears and wants to load from either the disk, or from the
internet, neither of which supply what it needs. When you plugged your camera
in, did it just work? or did the wizard look to the dosk or the internet for
a driver?

Thanks

Chris
