camera (it has been working fine with this program before)... i can click on
view, thumbnails all i want, but the pic never shows up... i click on view as
slide show and nothing happens... what is going on!?!?!?!?!?!?!? please

Try this, maybe it will restore the option:

go to...Start / Run and type:

"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and S)

Click...OK.

A dialog box should report the following:

"DllRegisterServer in SHIMGVW.DLL succeeded"

Hi John, this did NOT work. It said the module could not be found. I
previously posted this msg, it is on page 6. Here is our exchange after i
told you the module could not be found:

I did type the command exactly as it was supposed to be, yet the same error
pops up. I did a search for the file you said to search for, and it was
found at this location: C:\windows\system32

Also, the same error popped up again in regards to the start/run you
recommended below.

Any ideas?

Thanks a bunch,
D

Did you type the command or copy/paste? Is it
possible that you made a typo? (it must be exact)

If the command was correct, try searching your
HD for: "shimgvw.dll" (without the quotes).
If you find the file...post the location.

Also try...

go to...Start / Run and type (or copy/paste):

"regsvr32 %windir%\system32\shimgvw.dll"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and %)

Sorry, I did not recall the previous messages.

I don't know the solution to your problem. There's
a possibility that you have a corrupted User Account
but that's just a guess.

Good luck.
