Playing Quicktime movies out of Internet Explorer?

Is there a way I can play quicktime movies out of Internet Explorer when I
click on a quicktime movie link?
I mean I don't want the Quicktime movie to play in an IE6 window, but in the
Quicktime player.

The usual trick is to check the box "Browse in same window"
in the appropriate File Type entry.

FWIW I don't have that product installed and only use XP.
