Playback halts!

HELP! I successfully made a movie and it works well when I play it back
within the program. When I burn it to a CD however, the computer tells me
that it was successfully copied then when I go back and replay it on a
computer from the CD in windows media player it gets to a certain point in
the movie (about 5 minutes into a 14 minute movie) the pictures stop rolling
but the music keeps playing. The screen just pauses on one picture (a
different pic each time I've burned it) and I can't get it to keep rolling!
I've tried and tried EVERYTHING but NOTHING is working and I'm SO frustrated!
PLEASE HELP!!! How can I get my playback to work?!

Have you tried saving it to your hard drive and playing it back from there?
Also what audio format are you using? And what image or video formats?

I've been having the same problem. I have a 22 minute slideshow I have been
working on for about 2 weeks. I have saved it to a recordable CD but when I
play it back the pictures stop and the music continues. I have several copies
all stopping at different places. I got as far as 18 minutes into it and I
thought I finally did it, but froze again. The pictures are jpeg's and the
music mp3s. Why should something be so easy to put together and unable to
complete the project?
Please any help would greatly be appreciated!

Same for me, the music always records but the photos (jpegs) always freeze
and the music keeps rolling. I have a 32 minute slide show and the photos
have froze as early as 5 minutes and as late as 20 minutes. When I went into
my options choice and picked a different bit speed that had very low
resolution it finally worked but then the photos are of poor quality instead
of the high quality images from my camera that the movie maker should be
producing.

The pictures are old slides I scanned and of not good quality as it is. I
think if I changed to a lower resolution the whole project would be a
failure. Thanks for the info!

This is to all of you reporting the same problem in this thread:
I can tell you that I personally have had problems of varying degrees and at
varying times creating projects using MP3 audio.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and when it fails to work it
fails at different points in the process.
The same has been reported, I haven't had this experience myself, with the
use of JPG images.
The first thing I recommend doing is converting the MP3's to either WMA or
WAV and trying those.
If you still are having the same issues then try converting the JPG's to
BMP's and use those.
