Play midi files in PowerPoint 2007. The use to play in 2003 ok

I use to be able to go to Insert, movies and sounds and then insert a midi
file to play through a certain number of slides in my presentation with no
problem.

I installed PowerPoint 2007 and can no longer play midi files in my
presentation. I still have PowerPoint 2003 and my computer as well as
PowerPoint 2007 and for some reason my midi files will no longer play in 2003
either.

This worked fine, for years, until Office 2007 was installed

(New user)I want to play midi files with each slide, using Office 2003. Is
this easy to do?
