Pivot View -- 5th request for help!!

I'm using Access 2002 and trying to create a pivot
table. However when I select Form --> New --->
PivotWizard and select my fields, a blank pivot table
page opens. I can't see the drop area and can't
select "drop areas" in the view drop-down. What is wrong?

When I first loaded Access 2002, I had this problem and could not find a
fix. I later determined that my machine was infected with multiple viruses
(because I'd had Win 2K Server installed, and my personal AntiVirus and
Firewall apps would not run, so I had run barefoot "just for a few days"). I
don't know if the viruses were the cause, but when I used the manufacturer's
recovery CD to recover to a factory-new configuration of Win 2K Pro, loaded
Norton Internet Security as my first order of business, and then reloaded
Office XP, the problem went away.
