My new pivot table doesn't save

I created a new pivot table form by dragging some fields from
tblTransactions onto the pivot table template and I saved this as
PivotTableTransactions. Then I opened PivotTableTransactions (by double-
clicking on it in the navigation pane) and that same template where you
drop the fields appeared, not the actual pivot table. Is it supposed to do
this or is there something wrong with my Access? I'm using Access 2007.
