Pivot Table

Eddie McGlone

Hi all.

I have a pivot table which I want to show various bits of information from a
block of data. For each group, I want the table to show both a Subtotal
amount and a Subtotal Count. So far, so good.

Problem is down at the Grand Totals. I am unable to select a "second" Grand
Total for the count the way I can for the Sub Totals using the Field Settings.

Can this be done?

In the source data, add a column with the heading GT
In every row, enter: Grand Total
Add this field to the pivot table, as the first field in the Row area
Right-click on the GT field button, and click Field Settings
Select Count as the function, and click OK
