having pivot table show only the subtotals for the daily averages

I need to have the pivot table show the totals only for each day. I
would like to click and past the entire years daily average only
instead of having to manually copy and past all 365 rows since it
shows each 1/2 hour increment plus the daily subtotal.

Maybe you can select that field, rightclick on it and use Group And Show
Detail|Group
and then group by day (unselect any that excel selected for you).

If you have any text (including empty cells) in that date/time range, this won't
work. It has to be dates/numbers.
