Pioneer DVR lost write function.

Some time in the last couple of weeks, my writer lost the ability to write
CDs with XP's native functionality. If I put a blank CD in, I get no
drag-and-drop explorer window. If I try to open an explorer window with a
blank CD in the drive, I get an "invalid function" message. BTW, at some
point, I upgraded the Nero 6 OEM software bundled with the drive to Nero 7.
