Pinning and unpinning to startup

I pinned Outlook to Startup (so when I boot up Outlook automatically loads?
And it does.) Now I want to unpin it. So, I right-click the icon and select
unpin. But it still automatically loads at start up. I have also deleted it
from the start window. Still Outlook loads at boot. Remember those birthday
candles that will not blow out? How do I unpin, succesfully?

Pinning to the Start Menu never had caused that effect. All pinning does is
put it at the top of the Start Menu. Automatic startup can be done by either
putting a shortcut to Outlook in the Startup folder or by creating a
Scheduled Task in Control Panel.

In the start up folder there is no outlook icon. Neither is there an icon in
the scheduled tasks folder. Should I be searching differently?

There are also registry keys that govern startup. Moreover, some Asus
keyboards have extra keys and the control panel that allows you to configure
them can have Outlook load at startup.

You can check if you find it in msconfig
