Problem in PPT 2000 SP2

I insert some pictures into a slide I then take the PP slide and embed
it in a Word document. I can edit/open from within Word, the slide
contains a number of pictures inserted over a blue background. When I
print from within PP, pictures print OK, when I print Word page with
the embedded PP slide printed on the same printer using the same PS
printer driver the pictures within the embedded slide print with a
white background. Any ideas?

Many thanks

Have you applied transparency to the photos within PowerPoint or do the
photos have an alpha channel or transparency applied before they were
inserted?

This may not be carried over into Word.

Try this:

Select the image in PPT. Choose Edit, Copy. Choose Edit, Paste Special,
pick PNG. Then delete the original image or move it to another slide or off
to one side.

Now try copying this slide into Word and see if it prints correctly.
