Pictures wont display

I have tried all kinds of things to get the pictures to
display. I followed many different directions from this
news group and I have followed many different things I
found online to fix this problem. But nothing works. I
even went as far as to format my hard drive and install
xp on a clean hard drive. I updated everything and it
sill is not showing all the pictures. I have sbc dial up
and at first that browser did show the pictures for a few
minutes then I got the white boxes with red x's. I have
ad-aware 6.0 spybot and spy sweeper all up to date and
there is nothing as far as adware or spy ware on my
computer. I also have MacAfee Security Suite 6.0 running
but the pictures displayed for a while back in the day
but now for some reason they wont show. Is there some
kind of plugings I am missing for ie6? Or is there some
other problem?

I had tried that as well. It still wont show all the jpg
pictures or all the gif. It shows the ones it wants
too. I have gone to these websites on other computers
and the pictures show. I did the refresh thing over and
over but it wont show all the pictures. Is there some
plugins I need?

I had the samr problem and still do. I also have sbcyahoo. I reinstalled windows and then reinstalled sbc. Since my restore windows was old it had IE 4.0. SBC needed IE 6.0 and installed it. Everything was fine at that point. All secure sites were behaving. But then I installed the Windows updates and everything reverted to the red X problem. I have concluded that it is an unresolvable problem in an IE update. I am going to reinstall windows and stay at IE 6.0 installed by SBC
