Picture resize/E-mail

When sending a picture my e-mail program will not open even though it is set
on default. The resize box opens and it seems like the picture resizes but
the email program will not open. This feature did work at one time.

I cannot guarantee it, but the following method may work:

How do I make OE my default mail client?

Go to...Start / Run...and type the following:
"C:\PROGRAM FILES\OUTLOOK EXPRESS\MSIMN.EXE" /reg<
(copy paste everything between the > < but not including the > <)
(But first...Check the path to msimn.exe to make sure it is correct)

Click...OK...

Then open Internet Explorer and go to...Tools / Internet Options /
Programs tab...and set OE as the default mail (and news) program.

Good luck.

I've tried that but it dosen't do the trick. My default
mail works correctly when clicking on the send page in a
web browser. Also opens the default mail when clicking
on any email addy. I am only having the problem with the
picture resizing. I've three mail programs and it will
not open any of them. It always would open the mail
program I had set as default. I also have run the start
command REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL and the message box pops up
that that worked. Any other ideas? Thanks for the reply

Sorry...but I have no more ideas.

Maybe you could simply open a new e-mail
message and attach your files. At least that
would work until you discover the fix.
