Picture it 2000 (version 4)

my old pc with xp died, and now purchase a vista machine. installed an old
version of picture it 2000 and i'm getting an error message that says
"picture it needs a 30 megabytes to run" but the drive has over 80 gigs free.
the software worked fine on xp

There have been a few posts about "Picture It" in the
microsoft.public.windows.vista.music_pictures_video
newsgroup.

Apparently it has been discontinued and some versions will not run in Vista.
Look for posts from John Inzer.

Try the following steps.

Right click the executable (desktop
shortcut) and from the menu...choose...
Properties / Compatibility tab.

Check the box..."Run As Administrator" /
Apply / OK.

Try to open the program.

Good day
I know this is not about your original post. I have being using
Picture It 2000 for along time last month I came home and found the
2nd CD cracked in two places in the CD Rom drive. Im hoping someone
will read this and be willing to make a copy of the second CD and
send it to me. I would be willing to pay them for it.
