Picture Error

When I go to load some web pages, I don't get the
picture/graphics taht are on the page. All I get are the
red "X" that come up when the images don't load. Any help
would be great. I have reinstalled IE 6.0 and still this
way.

go to tools -> internet options -> advanced tab, scroll
down to multimedia and see if 'Show Pictures' is checked.
