When I download images from web they show up in my pics
as a box w/red X HELP!
========================================
What steps are you taking to download the images?

For example...if you right click an image and...from
the menu...choose..."Save Picture As"...when the
My Pictures folder opens...click "Save".

Now...if you go to your My Pictures folder...do you
see the picture or a Red X?

Maybe you have a corrupted WinXP user
account. Might be worth a try to create a
new account with administrative priveledges
and see if it can access the image files.
