Did the BSOD just appear briefly and then vanish because the computer
rebooted? If not then the simplest method is to simply write down the
information that is shown on the BSOD.
Another option is to right-click on My Computer and select Manage,
then expand the Event Viewer category and browse through each of the 3
subcategories looking for red-flagged error records whose date and
time corresponds to your BSOD. Double-click on an error record to see
the details of that error.
And if your computer automatically restarts after the BSOD and memory
dump then you can stop the rebooting by using Control Panel - System -
General and clicking on the Settings button in the Startup and
Recovery (bottom) section. In the Startup and Recovery window click
on the checkbox for "Automatically restart" to clear it then click on
Apply and OK as needed to exit.
