photos to a CD

I am trying to use a friends computer to burn photos to a
CD. I get all the way through the wizard and the
computer doesn't recognize the CD that i put in .. . CD-
RW . . . It keeps asking me to insert a rewritable CD . .
I tried two different CD's now!!!!! Help?!!?

My first question is: What program are you using

to "burn" CDs? Are you using Roxio or Nero? You
can "drag and drop" or "copy and paste" in Windows
Explorer to a CD-RW but not a CD-R.
